I figure if I am going to do this, I’d better have a darn good reason. Some reasons, it turns out, are better than others. According to this study, which I heard about on one of the billion marathon-training podcasts I downloaded this week, running a marathon to lose weight or simply for recognition is a pretty much guaranteed fail.
Good thing I heard that yesterday.
